Syrian and Jordanian youth participating in Save the Children's programmes in Amman carried out their first initiative by giving end-of-year gifts to children being treated at King Hussain Cancer Center. The idea was initiated by the children at Mahatta Center where Save the Children offers programmes such as informal education, early childhood education, and psychosocial support activities all supported by the UK government's Department for International Development (DfID).
